We stopped by the side of the road and look at what is in the distance.



A closer look reveals Stonehenge. Right next to the highway. Not what one would expect given that it's always portrayed as being out in the countryside and mysterious.

 

The collection of rocks was interesting. But not spectacular. We took this photo from over a fence. If you pay15 dollars you get to go 10 feet closer. We opted to stay on the other side of the fence.







 The Cathedral in Salisbury was huge and through the archways it was majestic. The attached museum had a rare copy of the Magna Carta. The town was charming as well.
