We love Kuala Lumpur! It's a country of immigrants. There's Chinese & Indian/Pakistani food everywhere. The  people are nice and the city easy to navigate. Above: a view from inside the Batu Cave, where there's a Hindu temple, and from inside the Petronas Towers, the (now) 2nd highest skycraper in the world.

   
Inside level 40-ish.  It was free to go in and there was an interesting interactive "museum" in the lobby as you wait you turn (and to get your very own special red security passes).  We were bummed that they don't allow people to go all the way to the top.

After KL, we took off to our beach paradise in the Perhentian Islands to relax from all the  rough traveling of India and Indonesia.  We were so tired that we never picked up a camera. You'll have to go to see how beautiful it is there.
